Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il set a world-historic model in the revolutionary party building and guided the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to only victory with his extraordinary ideo-theoretical wisdom and through his distinguished leadership. His immortal exploits still strike the world progressives with deep admiration.
This can be felt in the congratulatory messages and letters from foreign personages on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of Kim Jong Il 's start of work at the WPK Central Committee.
The chairperson of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan stressed that Kim Jong Il made distinguished feats by building up the WPK to be a revolutionary party serving for the interests of the popular masses and developing it as required by the times.
A congratulatory letter from the participants in the celebrations, co-sponsored by the Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Switzerland, said:
The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il 's start of work at the Party Central Committee on June 19, 1964 was a turning point in the history of the WPK and socialist Korea.
He modeled the whole Party on President Kim Il Sung 's revolutionary idea, the Juche idea and devoted his all to strengthening the WPK into the party of the leader.
While working at the Party Central Committee, he pointed out the danger of modern revisionism and its aftereffect and injected fresh vitality into the international communist movement through his distinguished ideo-theoretical activities.
The general secretary of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) praised Kim Jong Il as a peerlessly elder statesman, noting that he developed the WPK into a rock-firm party, where the leader's ideological and guidance system is thoroughly established, and turned the DPRK into a powerful socialist country no other can belittle.
The secretary of the C.C., All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks said that thanks to Kim Jong Il 's energetic guidance, the WPK was turned into a powerful organization guaranteeing the unity and cohesion of the people rallied around the leader. -0-
