More Young People Volunteer to Work at Major Sites of Socialist Construction in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- More than 100 young people of South Phyongan Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at major sites of socialist construction.

A meeting of young people who volunteer to work at difficult and labor consuming sectors of socialist construction took place in Phyongsong City on June 23.

There were a congratulatory address and speeches.

The speaker called on all the young people to give full play to wisdom and courage of the patriotic youth in the struggle for bringing earlier the bright future of socialism by carrying forward boundless loyalty to the Party and bravery displayed by the youth heroes in the era of Chollima.

Speakers expressed their resolution to achieve collective innovations at every site of the economic construction for the overall development of our-style socialism by finding pleasure in overcoming troubles, true to the Party's noble intention of prioritizing and loving the youth.

After the meeting the volunteers enjoyed a congratulatory performance given by the members of the provincial art squad and visited the provincial revolutionary museum comprehensively dealing with the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great men on the development of the provincial economy and the improvement of the people's living.

They were sent off by officials, working people and youth in the city. -0-
