Placing Great Trust in Scientists and Technicians

There are many people contributing to the social development with science in the world, but no happy persons living under the great trust and love like our scientists.

It was one January day in Juche 107(2018) when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the State Academy of Sciences.

Looking round the exhibition hall of scientific research successes, he said to officials that a huge army of scientists and technicians have assumed a heavy responsibility for implementing the Party’s line of attaching importance to science. He said that the scientific and technologic front is the foremost front in safeguarding the Party and revolution and advancing our cause today and that the scientists and technicians are the main forces.

He is convinced that there is no barrier insurmountable and nothing impossible to do in the world when the brains, wisdoms and technologies of scientists and technicians are merged with our Party’s Juche Idea and wise leadership. Therefore, the respected General Secretary declared vigorously in a resonant voice that we trust in and rely on the huge army of scientists and technicians only.

His words with great trust in our scientists were warmly kept in minds of not only officials, scientists and technicians of the State Academy of Sciences but also those across the country.

Inspired by the Party’s trust, our scientists have made a big stride in the today’s struggle for the overall development of socialist construction with the will to repay the Party’s trust.

Be Genuine Patriot before Becoming Scientist and Technician

Today the scientists are being called patriots in our country. The proud reality will be unthinkable without love of the peerlessly great man who takes care of and leads them to be patriots faithfully contributing to the prosperity and development of socialist country.

Making round of the newly-built Wisong Scientists Residential District in October some years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said meaningfully that our scientists are patriots who engage in sci-tech work for contributing to socialist country not for themselves, convinced that though there is no frontier in science, they have bosom of socialist motherland and the mother party.

Whenever the opportunity arises since then, he has taught that the scientists and technicians should become genuine patriots, and one day in April Juche 105(2016), said to senior officials of the Party Central Committee that the scientists and technicians should become true patriots before scientists and technicians.

And he continued that the scientists and technicians could not make valuable research successes helpful to the country’s prosperity and development without patriotism.

Be genuine patriot before becoming scientist and technician!

Indeed, the teachings given by the respected General Secretary serve as mental source to make the minds of our scientists and technicians seethe with warm blood of patriotism and let them devote all their wisdom and ardor to the scientific research work.
