Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- The Anju Pump Factory in the DPRK has completed its first half-yearly plan ahead of schedule by waging a dynamic struggle for increased production.
Officials and workers of the factory made innovations in production of pumps needed for major construction sites and several sectors of the national economy by enhancing their sci-tech strength, while overcoming the current epidemic-brought crisis.
They introduced valuable technical innovations into such processes as casting and assembling to boost production and save a lot of manpower.
Workers and technicians remodeled a heating furnace to save coal and made efforts to produce welding rods by themselves.
The factory newly built a processing shop, secured dozens of processing equipment and enhanced their efficiency. -0-
