The State Emergency Disaster Committee makes all the emergency disaster and crisis control teams re-examine the emergency information system in their regions and units and take relevant measures.
It gives precedence to the work for enhancing crisis consciousness among the working people and residents, storing necessary relief materials and taking measures to use IT means in case of a crisis.
The Ministry of Coal Industry lets the coal mining complexes in different parts of the country take detailed steps to protect the coal pits from flooding and continue the production.
The chemical industrial sector makes sure that its industrial establishments survey the objects and factors vulnerable to rainstorm and flood and take thorough security measures.
Measures are taken to protect building materials and equipment and structures from flood and typhoon at major construction sites. -0-
