Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The DPRK is taking timely measures for thoroughly eradicating all elements dangerous to epidemic safety and for revving up the anti-epidemic atmosphere across the country according to the scientific explanation of inroads of the malignant virus which has spread over the country.
The educational data calling on all the sectors, units, working people and inhabitants to discharge their duty as befits the citizens of the country in the ongoing anti-epidemic campaign were promptly distributed to the emergency epidemic prevention units at all levels and all the units, factories and households are urged to vigorously wage intensive agitprop activities.
Strong measures are taken to prevent any small break on the wall against the inroad of the malignant virus via land, sea and air while closely observing the outbreak and spread of the new epidemics including the Omicron coronavirus sub-variants and the monkeypox virus cases in other countries.
The emergency epidemic prevention units at all levels reinforced the ranks of the epidemic survey teams and observation and information teams and made their missions concrete while maintaining the state of mobilization of rapid mobile epidemic prevention teams and rapid medical examination, treatment teams and rapid consultative diagnostic teams.
The security arrangements for the members involved in the management of strange things carried to our side by the wind and other weather phenomena as well as garbage floated to the shores and rivers have been thoroughly made and the demands are getting strict to ensure exact observation of the anti-epidemic rules.
Observation posts around the sanctuaries for animals and migratory bird reserves and habitats have been reinforced throughout the country, observation to moving way of wild animals and seasonal birds intensified and disinfection of birds and wild animals strictly carried out.
In keeping with the current rainy weather, the efforts are concentrated on correcting and perfecting the rules on the basis of checking all the elements which can be the channels of inroad of the new strains of COVID-19 while more strictly carrying out the medical examination of the river water collected from the rivers of Pyongyang and the areas along the line and test samples collected at the epidemically dangerous places in all provinces. -0-
