Souvenir Picture Taken against Slogan-bearing Tree
One January day in Juche 103(2014), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Madusan Revolutionary Battle Site.
That day he stayed for a long time in front of a tree bearing the slogan "Keep the revolutionary faith to the death!"
Looking at the slogan, he warmly said it was an admirable one representing the mental world of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who devoted their all to the revolution to the last following President Kim Il Sung.
And he suggested to officials posing for a picture against the slogan-bearing tree while recollecting the revolutionary faith of ourselves.
The immortal picture to be recorded in the history instills the faith of a revolutionary deep into the people’s minds.
It was an invincible philosophy that the revolution is just faith and one cannot make a revolution to the last when giving up his own belief and only the person of strong revolutionary conviction can cover the road of revolution to the last.
Spirit That Should Be Kept Forever
One day in October eight years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un significantly said to officials that the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu is noble one which our people and soldiers should keep in their minds forever.
The revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu is an unyielding fighting spirit of weathering obstacles and difficulties and a staunch militant spirit of rising up no matter how often one may fall and fighting it out.
The reason why our red flag which had fluttered in Mt Paektu has become redder without fading is attributable to the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu, the endless spiritual treasure of our country which is more precious than all the treasures in the world and unchangeable forever.
Thus, the respected General Secretary stressed at every opportunity that our people and service personnel should live and struggle regarding the spirit as an integral part of themselves.
The revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu is noble one which our people should keep in their minds forever.
