The youths' zeal to play the role of the vanguard and shock brigade in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee is getting stronger in the DPRK.
More than 140 young people in Sinwon County of South Hwanghae Province have volunteered to work at the sites of rural construction with the mind to discharge their mission and duty as the young vanguard in the struggle for achieving rapid development of Korean-style socialist rural areas.
20-odd discharged soldiers decided to work at the sites required by the Party with the determination to devote themselves to materializing the new socialist rural construction programme.
Youths at the Sinwon Cement Factory, the Hasong Wheel Factory, etc. and graduates from the vocational technology school in Sinwon County vowed to devote their wisdom and energy to implementing the Party's policy on rural construction.
Students of graduating classes at senior middle schools volunteered to work at the county construction brigade in order to transform their farm villages into the ideal ones.
A congratulatory meeting took place on the spot on July 3.
