Rodong Sinmun Calls for Embodying Party's Idea of Attaching Importance to Morality

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an editorial says that the Korean revolution is the sacred cause that was pioneered with comradeship and has emerged victorious by dint of love, obligation and unity.
The ethics and morality is not merely a matter of personality but an important matter related to the destiny and future of the revolution, the editorial says, adding:
Without the revolutionary morality, true ethics, is it impossible to achieve the comradely relationship and the ideological and volitional unity of the revolutionary ranks and expect the inheritance and development of the revolutionary traditions and fighting spirit. Victory in the revolution precisely means the victory of ideology and spirit and the victory of ethics and morality.
Penetrating deep into the importance and significance of morality in kneading personality and accomplishing the revolutionary cause, our Party has energetically guided the work to embody the Juche outlook on morality in all spheres of social life. A true communist revolutionary is a person of faith, will and moral obligation, a country governed by morality is a genuine power, and the revolution based on passion, affection, love and trust is sure to emerge victorious. This is the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of attaching importance to morality.
The road of advance in the new century of Juche is a glorious course of struggle for achieving greater victory on the strength of moral obligation, the irresistible might of single-minded unity.
Our Party's noble outlook on morality, idea of giving importance to morality produced the great revolutionary legends and brought a new history of comradely love and obligation to this land.
Contained in this idea is our Party's fixed will to reform the society and bring earlier the future by dint of unity peculiar to Juche Korea.
The editorial calls on all the people to thoroughly embody the WPK's idea of attaching importance to morality and thus hasten the new victory of the Korean revolution while displaying their peculiar spiritual and moral traits to the full. -0-
