Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- The forestry sector of the DPRK makes efforts for preventing flood damage. Forestry management bureaus in every province find out the regions vulnerable to flood damage and landslide and concentrate efforts on reinforcing imperfect elements. Forestry stations and mine timber production stations in the forestry sector take perfect measures to prevent the damage by heavy rain. Those of the forestry management bureau of South Hamgyong Province repair dwelling houses and carry out the anti-land-sliding projects in relevant areas. Other provincial forestry management bureaus progress the work for preventing flood damage.
