Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, efforts are directed to consolidating the foundations for the production of dairy products.
After making efficient equipment for the production of milk powder, Pyongyang City has paid attention to guaranteeing the hygienic safety in production and storage.
North Phyongan and Kangwon provinces have striven to equip their milk-processing bases with facilities suited to the requirements of the standard design, while making its cities and counties improve the quality of dairy products through emulations.
South Phyongan Province intensifies the work to increase the variety of dairy products, including milk powder and yoghurt, with the milk-processing base at the Songchon County Foodstuff Factory as a model.
North Hwanghae Province built a yoghurt production process with a large capacity at the Sariwon Children's Foodstuff Factory to provide nurseries and kindergartens in the city of Sariwon with yoghurt all the year round..
