Be Riders of Chollima

One day in August four years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory.

The factory had embarked on modernization several years before, but as it lacked confidence and conducted it in a passive way, the results were not satisfactory.

Having learnt about this in detail, the respected General Secretary earnestly said to the officials of the factory that they had to make theirs, built and guided by President Kim Il Sung, a model factory playing a leading role in the medical appliances industry.

He continued that they must not to be discouraged by falling behind and what important was to keep confidence.

He added that what the officials must guard against were defeatism and idleness and indolence of taking the current situation as unavoidable.

He stressed that the officials and employees of the factory must be riders of Chollima to lead the medical appliances industry of the country.

Revolution is made with confidence. With confidence, one can get both the way out and the strength, but one can do nothing without it.

Within slightly over one year since then, all the buildings of the factory were remodeled in a fresh and peculiar architectural style, all the spaces were rearranged in a good shape and the factory’s surroundings were improved.

All these transformations are unthinkable without the confidence and courage the respected General Secretary had implanted in them.

With the Great Trust

In May, Juche 104(2015), the respected General Secretary inspected a farm.

He acquainted himself with details about research into seed production and management of the farm, making rounds of the seed research institute, experimental factory and experimental and cultivation fields.

Then he expressed great satisfaction at the achievements made by the officials, scientists, researchers and employees of the relevant sector in their efforts to put the seed production on a modern basis.

The officials were wrapped in strong feelings, looking up to the respected General Secretary who valued and appreciated every one of the achievements.

He reposed deep trust in the officials of the farm, saying the farm is an experimental farm of the Party Central Committee, which was under the great care of Chairman Kim Jong Il and to which he has also paid primary attention. He underlined the need for the farm to steadily take the lead in implementing the Party’s policy for bringing about a radical turn in seed selection in order to effect a signal success in the development of agriculture, a major thrust in the drive for defending socialism.

Praising the officials, scientists, researchers and employees of the farm as patriots as they are working hard with sweat of their brow and enthusiasm, regardless of whether they are known or not and recognized or not, he said the Party Central Committee would always remember their feats.

Indeed, we live with the ennobling love and trust of the respected General Secretary.

That’s why we unchangeably follow the great Party in whatever trials of history and strive to bring earlier the rosy future full of confidence in sure victory.
