Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The Fifth Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) was held through video conferencing on Friday.
Attending it were members and alternate members of the SWUK Central Committee.
Present as observers were officials of the Central Committee and the provincial, city and county committees of the SWUK.
The meeting discussed the matters including the one of thoroughly implementing the instructions given by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the union to fulfill its responsibility and duty before the society as befits a group of communist mothers.
Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the SWUK, made a report on the agenda items.
The reporter referred to the measures for turning all the union members into communist mothers and the union organizations into a group of communist mothers by bringing about a radical turn in the union work.
She called on the union members to value the state affairs more than household affairs, do more good things for the country, add more shine to the beautiful family and national customs and strive to generalize the communist virtues and beautiful traits.
The reporter stressed the need to fully display the might of the women's union in the ongoing all-out advance.
