The 6th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the 10th Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League (SPYL) took place through video conferencing on Thursday.
Attending it were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the youth league. Present as observers were officials of the Central Committee of the youth league and those of the ministry, national institution, provincial, city and county committees of the league.
Discussed as major agenda items at the meeting were the tasks facing the youth league organizations to decisively improve the youth league work and other matters.
Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made a report on the agenda items.
The reporter noted that the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the tasks and ways for educating the youths to take active part in the league life with pride and training them into faithful reserves of the Party, saying the strengthening of the youth league means the strengthening of working people's organizations and the Workers' Party of Korea.
He called on all the league officials to bring about an improvement in the league work with transparent ideological preparedness to uphold the General Secretary's idea of attaching importance to the youth.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
The speakers expressed resolutions to display the militant stamina of the advancing group and wing of the Party in the struggle for the overall development of Korean-style socialism.
Adopted at the meeting were relevant decisions based on the deep study and discussion of their draft.
