Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a co-signed article says that the accomplishment of the historic cause of national liberation was a shining victory of the transparent anti-imperialist revolutionary idea set forth by President Kim Il Sung , the glorious victory of the anti-imperialist death-defying resistance the Korean people waged in their own way under the uplifted banner of national liberation and self-reliant independence, thoroughly embodying the idea of attaching importance to the army.
The President put forward the anti-imperialist revolutionary idea and clearly indicated the road of struggle on the basis of scientifically analyzing the subjective and objective conditions of the Korean revolution when he embarked on the road of the revolution, the article says, and goes on:
The noble idea the President clarified at the inaugural meeting of the Down-with-Imperialism Union was the independent spirit to achieve the national liberation and the victory of the revolution by dint of self-reliance, and the most resolute anti-imperialist revolutionary idea reflecting the strong will of the Korean revolutionaries to carry on the struggle until the eradication of imperialism on the earth.
The anti-imperialist revolutionary idea clearly indicated the way of its implementation. Therefore, the Korean revolution entered a stage of new development of its own style.
The anti-imperialist revolutionary idea set forth by the President still displays its great viability.
The duty of the revolutionary struggle at its every period and stage might change, but the essence of the anti-imperialist revolutionary idea can never change as long as there exist imperialists in this world.
When all the people more thoroughly arm themselves with the anti-imperialist revolutionary idea, the socialist cause will vigorously advance and always emerge victorious. This is a truth of history. -0-
