The Signs Changed
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Songyong General Restaurant in May 2012.
He looked round a dinning room on the second floor of the restaurant and went towards its central hall. He paused all of a sudden.
The white papersign X was pasted on a transparent plate glass partition wall between the room and the hall.
Pointing to the sign he said that the clear plate glass was put in to form the wall and door between the hall and the chow mein room and that it would be advisable not to use the simple sign but to set something like floral patterns.
After a while he tenderly taught the accompanying officials that the plate glass wall must be ornamented with white bands or something like floral patterns with a sand blaster so that it could be pleasing to the eye and instantly recognizable.
That day the officials were deeply moved by his kind-hearted love for the people.
Even now the officials and employees of the restaurant are full of resolve to work as genuine servants of the people true to the noble intention of our Party, remembering that day.
Feature He Imagined in Delight
In April Juche 101(2012), the respected General Secretary visited the Mansugyo Fish and Meat Shop irrespective of the bad weather with rain.
The three-storied shop has counters of fresh, frozen fish and processed fish on its ground floor while on the first floor counters of meat including beef, pork, goose, turkey and quail and processed foodstuff.
The second floor has a restaurant serving steak.
The respected General Secretary saw the guide map of the shop and led his way to counters.
It was when he was looking round the counter of processed meat foodstuff on the first floor.
Looking at a processed foodstuff, he asked an official of the shop if she had tasted it.
She answered that she hasn’t tasted it yet.
The respected General Secretary kindly said that she should taste the foodstuffs before others in order to inform the customers of cooking methods and taste.
The official was moved to tears. She never thought how the people would take the foodstuffs at homes even though she imagined happy people buying the good foodstuffs at the shop.
However the respected General Secretary, seeing a single foodstuff, imagined looks of cooking housewives and a harmonious family enjoying a meal around a small dinning table.
Indeed, he was the tender-hearted father of all the people across the country.
