Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, Jong Un Sim, instructor of the Information Bureau of the General Association of Koreans in China, and Kim Song Mi, director of the Information Bureau of the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, issued articles under the titles of "Warm congratulations to the 77th anniversary of national liberation", "Bringing the springtime of liberation" and "Song of the general of Mt Paektu to be handed down through centuries" to mark the 77th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The articles said that August 15, 1945 was a historic day when the Korean people, who had been subject to the colonial slavery for the Japanese imperialists, rejoiced with delight and emotion, hailing the national liberation free from the yoke of oppression.
They stressed that President Kim Il Sung , the great leader acclaimed for the first time in the history of the Korean nation spanning thousands of years, is the eternal liberator and the sun of the Korean nation as he accomplished the historic cause of national liberation by waging a bloody struggle against the Japanese imperialists after embarking on the road of revolution in his teens.
They noted that the ordinary and plain, Korean people could deal a deadly blow at the aggressive U.S. imperialist aggressors during the Fatherland Liberation War as they had a strong will to defend their rights as the masters of a new country and a new life.
The articles said that under the leadership of President
Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the DPRK has been turned into a full-fledged Juche-oriented nuclear weapons state and a socialist power which no aggressive force dares to provoke. -0-
