On August 8, the U.S. announced another plan for military aid to Ukraine.

Announcing the military aid plan worth a billion US dollars, Biden administration commented that the current aid will be larger than ever in scale and the Department of Defense will be responsible for supplying missiles, bullets and other weapons.

Also on August 19, the high-ranking representative of the Department of Defense said in an interview that yet another plan of military aid worth 775 million US dollars is to be announced at the end of August.

High-ranking officials of the U.S. administration and military authorities are now boasting that the military equipment provided by the U.S. plays a crucial role in the ceaseless fights of the Ukrainian army against Russia.

In this regard, the deputy director of public information office of the Russian foreign ministry stated at a regular press conference that the total sum of aid provided by the U.S. during Biden’s tenure has already reached tens of billions US dollars and such policy will rather prolong the combat action and will not help control the situation at all.

The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations also said that the U.S. is fanning the flames of the Ukrainian conflict with arms delivery, and pointed out that the additional expenditure proves that Washington is not willing to listen to reason or to cooperate in peaceful settlement of disputes.

And he stressed that the U.S. is getting involved more deeply in the conflict, moving close to a dangerous line of confrontation with Russia and that its confrontation with Russia will only add to the sufferings of the Kiev regime, instead of promoting peace and security.

Experts unanimously comment that the continuous military aid from the U.S. will only further aggravate the regional situation and increase the risk of military conflict between the U.S. and Russia.
