Kim Yong Rok, a table tennis player of the Korean Sports Association of the Disabled, took the first place and won a gold medal for the motherland in the team event of the 2019 Asia Championships of the People with Disabilities of the International Table Tennis Federation.July is his favourite month of the year.It is because the day was none other than July 27 (the V-day of the Fatherland Liberation War) when he mounted the winner`s rostrum with the sought-after gold medal on his chest.Thanks to the benevolence of the country treasuring the bud of talent of an unknown boy with disability in Kangso, he received specialist guidance from the coaches of the Korean Sports Association of the Disabled. When he returned with the gold medal, the country gave him nationwide publicity as the winner of Kim Il Sung Youth Honour Prize.With the July in his heart, he strives to prove himself worthy of the benevolence and trust with greater successes in his matches.
