Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to General Secretary of C.C., CPV and President of SRV

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), and Nguyen Xuan Phuc, president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV), on Sept. 2.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his message extended ardent congratulations and warm greetings to the general secretary, the president, the Communist Party, the government and the people of Vietnam on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the SRV.
The message noted that for the past 77 years after the founding of the Republic, the Vietnamese people have made big advance in the struggle for defending the sovereignty of the country and the nation and building socialism under the leadership of the CPV.
I am sincerely rejoiced over the fact that the Communist Party, the government and the people of Vietnam have made progress in the efforts to attain the goals of building the modern and developed socialist state set forth at the 13th party congress, the message said.
It expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations with a long history and traditions between the two parties and two countries would continue to develop as agreed at the Hanoi meeting in March 2019.
It sincerely wished the general secretary and the president bigger success in their important and responsible work for developing the party and state.
