Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK intensifies the anti-epidemic work with the beginning of the autumn season.
The province rapidly distributed instructions and information related with the treatment and prevention of viral respiratory diseases including influenza, while carefully conducting the control over the anti-epidemic work according to seasonal changes.
Jangphung and Kumchon counties have ensured the perfection in blockade by carrying on the disposal of abnormal things and waste and unidentified dead birds and fish as prescribed.
The Songrim Port urged its quarantine members to have a high sense of responsibility and role in the disinfection of imported goods according to varieties of items and materials.
The province has urged the agricultural workers and helpers to strictly abide by the anti-epidemic regulations in the autumn period for aiding farming.
Commercial and public service units are further intensifying the anti-epidemic work in combination with the autumn hygiene work, keeping the interior and exterior of buildings in a hygienic and cultured way.
Meanwhile, epidemic prevention units at all levels of the province are pushing ahead in a planned way with the work to store up the medicines needed for the treatment of respiratory diseases. -0-
