Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- People's committees in different parts of the DPRK strive to expand the milk-producing bases and improve the quality of dairy products.
The Pyongyang City People's Committee has focused its efforts on the construction of a new general stockbreeding base with large capacity in Kangdong County. It finished the first-stage project for building over 1 300 dwellings, production buildings, goat pens and other facilities. It is now stepping up the second-stage project.
The South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee is directing big efforts to the veterinary and anti-epizootic work in various stockbreeding bases of the province.
The North Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee has striven to create new grass fields and settle the feed problem so as to increase the number of goats in city and counties.
The North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee organized provincial milk powder show and passing-on-technique meeting to help cities and counties improve the quality of dairy products.
The same is true of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee and other people's committees across the country. -0-
