Pro-reunification Patriotic Fighter Receives Birthday Spread

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who adds luster to the lives of the revolutionary soldiers and bestows highest glory of life on them, Friday sent a birthday spread to Kim Yong Su, an indomitable pro-reunification patriotic fighter, on his 90th birthday.
Kim Yong Su was born into a poor peasant family in North Kyongsang Province and had to undergo sorrow as a stateless nation in his early years. After Korea's liberation, he had badly longed for the northern half of it.
In the Fatherland Liberation War period, he came to be under the care of the DPRK and bravely fought against the U.S. imperialist aggressors with arms in his hand. After the war, he graduated Kim Il Sung University and struggled for socialist construction and national reunification.
He kept his revolutionary principles to the last in the face of appeasement and barbaric tortures by the enemies who had enforced ideological conversion for scores of years. Later, he came to be again under the care of the DPRK and lead a worthwhile life as Hero of the Republic, winner of the National Reunification Prize and Doctor of History thanks to the trust and love of the Party.
