Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Cabinet is more scrupulously planning and guiding the work for modernizing local industry.
In particular, it is promoting the work to popularize the experience gained by industrial establishments in Kimhwa County of Kangwon Province.
The unified guidance on the modernization of local industrial establishments in the country has been intensified since the central promotion committee, made up of capable officials in each sector, came into being.
Until September, technical personnel from each province, city and county had visited the industrial establishments in Kimhwa County and there were workshops for them.
Technical guidelines and designs for processes and equipment of industrial establishments in Kimhwa County have already been distributed to each province, city and county. With these as models and reference books, all other areas are building modern production processes according to a well thought-out plan.
The promotion committees of every province, city and county chose the factories to be modernized according to stepwise plan. And they are making preparations for working out the technical guidelines and designs according to the procedure. -0-
