General Secretary of WPK Kim Jong Un Congratulates General Secretary of CPC Xi Jinping

Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), sent a congratulatory message to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on October 23.
The message reads as follows:
Respected Comrade General Secretary,
Upon hearing the glad news that the 20 th Congress of the CPC was successfully held and you were elected again as the General Secretary of the Party Central Committee, I extend my warmest congratulations to you.
The 20 th Congress of the CPC became a significant landmark for the Chinese party and people in propelling the historic process of the Chinese nation’s great prosperity under the banner of the socialist idea with the Chinese characteristics in the new era, rallied closer around the Party Central Committee with you at the core.
Your sustained assumption of the heavy duty of leading the CPC is indicative of the invariable trust, support and expectation of all the party members and people to you.
I am convinced that the CPC and the Chinese people would win a shining victory in the new journey for maintaining and developing socialism with the Chinese characteristics and for building comprehensively well-off modern socialist state under your leadership.
The two parties of the DPRK and China are powerfully hauling the development of the bilateral ties with socialism at the core, remaining unperturbed by any change of the situation and challenges while further strengthening the unity and cooperation between them.
I, together with you, will shape more beautiful future of the DPRK-China relations meeting the demand of the times and lead the endeavors for its realization so as to continue to powerfully propel the socialist cause in the two countries.
