Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The Taesongsan Ice Cream Factory was successfully completed in the DPRK.
This modern ice cream producer built at the foot of picturesque Mt Taesong will contribute to implementing the people-oriented policies of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) by producing more tasty and qualitative ice cream and various health drinks favored by our people and children.
An inaugural ceremony of the factory took place on Wednesday.
Present there were Jon Hyon Chol, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the Kyonghung Trade Bureau, officials and employees of the factory and officials, builders, scientists, teachers, researchers and technicians of the units who contributed to the construction of the factory.
Jon Hyon Chol made an inaugural speech.
The speaker noted that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un personally initiated the construction of the factory to provide our people and children with better ice cream, chose its site and guided in detail the issues arising in the construction including designing, formation of construction force, construction and afforestation and greening.
He said that the factory is a proud creation by the devoted struggle of the Party members and other working people who uphold with their whole mind the intention of our Party which set it as the supreme principle of its activities to realize the people's aspiration and demand and steadily improve the people's living standard.
He expressed the belief that the workers of the factory would strive to fulfill their honorable and responsible duty. -0-
