A grave situation is being created on the Korean peninsula due to the excessive military confrontation of the hostile forces.
I estimate the "Vigilant Storm" joint air drill conducted by the United States and south Korea as an aggressive and provocative military exercise thoroughly aimed at the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in view of the number of fighters involved and its scale and in the light of the code name "Desert Storm" which copied the name of operation used when invading Iraq in the early 1990s.
It is a very ominous omen.
The US Department of Defence made it policy as the major target of its nuclear strategy to "end the government" of the DPRK. The south Korean military warmongers including the Minister of National Defence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff let loose a string of silly remarks that our government must be totally destroyed in case we use nukes.
What is clear is that this US-south Korea joint air drill resumed in five years is a prolongation of such provocation.
The United States is making a mistake.
It will be a wild dream and fatal strategic mistake that the United States thinks that it can do in such way as it bombed weak countries at any time and trifled with the destiny of sovereign states at will towards the end of the last century.
The military bluff of the United States can never work on the Korean peninsula as in other region.
We strictly watch the present instability of the Korean peninsula caused by the reckless military moves of the United States and south Korea.
If the United States and south Korea attempt to use arms against us without fear, the special means of the armed forces of the DPRK will immediately perform their strategic mission and the United States and south Korea will face a shocking incident and pay the most terrible price in history.
They must bear in mind that if they accept it only as a threatening warning in this situation, it will be a great mistake.
We can no longer pardon their military recklessness and provocation.
The frantic "military exercises" and provocative outbursts of the United States and south Korea must be discontinued.
Those responsible of the United States and south Korea, who like to make a bluff at any time, have to make a correct choice; which is more important--maintenance of their faces or security of their country.
