One day in July Juche 102 (2013) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a children’s hospital which was under construction in the Munsu area. That day it was raining in torrents from the morning with strong wind.
There was a reason why he visited the construction site in such a nasty weather.
Relevant officials had planned to supply state-of-the-art medical equipment in two stages considering the difficult economic situation of the country. Then, some cases were supposed to be diagnosed in other hospitals and treated in the children’s hospital. This had weighed his mind so heavily.
Having acquainted himself of the situation in detail, Kim Jong Un said: Because this hospital is a comprehensive treatment base for children, the equipment at issue must be provided at any cost however expensive it might be; nothing should be spared for the children.
Thanks to his affection and devoted effort for the children, the Okryu Children’s Hospital could be fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
