Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The agricultural sector of the DPRK takes measures to perfect the irrigation system.
Officials of the Agricultural Commission and the relevant sectors in all provinces, cities and counties launched the work to survey in detail the irrigation facilities throughout the country and perfect them in a short span of time and consolidate the material and technical foundations of the irrigation field.
South Hwanghae Province has put it in a concrete form to turn many dry fields into paddy fields by reinforcing the irrigation facilities.
North Phyongan Province has conducted in earnest the work to restore and perfect the irrigation structures in time.
