Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The harder officials work, the more forcefully our revolution will advance and the earlier the overall prosperity and development of Korean-style socialism will be brought, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial Thursday.

Truly crucial and heavy responsibilities rest on the shoulders of our officials now, the editorial says, and goes on:

The perfect implementation of our Party's plan and determination to materialize the people's ideal and bring them happiness depends on headwork and commanding ability of the officials. The same can be said for the overall development of the country as it definitely relies on their dedication and committed endeavors.

Those officials who plan in a forward-looking way and orchestrate it in a big way and display perseverance to put it into a reality are who our Party wishes to have and who is needed in our era.

Officials are servants for the people and they exist for the people, not vice versa.

People's demand, interests and happiness must be the starting point and standard of all thinking and work of officials.

Only those officials keeping in mind that people for whom he becomes servants are the fine people who have overcome all hardships following the Party with total dedication and those officials finding the worth of life in dedicating their wisdom and enthusiasm to building a happy paradise of the people can be called faithful servants for the people in the true sense of the words.

Officials have to keep people's trust and expectation all the time and adopt viewpoint and working trait and style strictly meeting people's demand and interests.

The editorial calls on all to bear the noble intention of the Party Central Committee and plan and work with enthusiasm and perseverance to bring people greater happiness. -0-
