Cities and counties of the DPRK have made successes in the work to accelerate the regional development and improve the people’s living standard through such brisk mass movements as the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
Tanchon City of South Hamgyong Province has conducted in a substantial way the work for local economic development and improvement of the people’s living standard amid the flames of three revolutions. Its officials deeply impressed on the masses the Party’s plan and intention for further developing the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement with city and county as a unit to make them devote their efforts, wisdom and enthusiasm to the development of their units and regions.
Jongju City of North Phyongan Province has made sure that all its units briskly conduct the socialist patriotic forest movement. More than 30 units had already won the title of socialist patriotic forest. This year, 10-odd units including the Jongju Unha Garment Factory and the Jongju Tractor Parts Plant won the title of socialist patriotic forest.
Meanwhile, Paekam Senior Middle School in Paekam County of Ryanggang Province won the title of model law-observance unit amid the fierce flames of mass movement.
