Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The Forum of Our Nation-2022 of Koreans in Japan took place at Korean University in Tokyo on Nov. 20.
Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and concurrently Director of the Organization Department Pak Ku Ho, Vice-Chairman Nam Sung U, Vice-Chairman and concurrently Director General of the General Affairs Department Pae Jin Gu, Vice-Chairman Jo Il Yon, Vice-Chairman and concurrently Director of the Education Department Song Kun Hak, Vice-Chairman and concurrently Director of the Department for International Affairs and Reunification So Chung On, Vice-Chairwoman and concurrently Chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan Kang Chu Ryon, department directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters, leading officials of central leadership bodies and affiliates, Choe Pyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan (KYCA), and its members and representatives, other officials and compatriots.
The event was held under the sponsorship of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan.
Introduced there were activities done by members of the organizations affiliated to KYCA who have worked for the development of Korean community in Japan and national education over the past one year.
Speeches were made there.
Speakers referred to the practical goals and action plan for boldly conducting on a new stage the national education such as the enrollment of students for Korean schools and the adjustment and expansion of semi-regular educational networks by pooling the efforts of Koreans.
A video on a special performance of youth and students from the homeland was shown, a sports contest was held and the Kumgang-san Opera Troupe and the Korean Song and Dance Ensemble in Tokyo gave performances. -0-
