Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has made remarkable progress in the work to build up the milk powder production process true to the Party's childcare policy.
Based on the calculation of the amount of milk production and number of children in the relevant areas, officials of the province properly set the scale of equipment needed for milk powder production and are pushing ahead with the work in a planned way while solving the knotty problems.
In compliance with the provincial plan, rural areas and industrial establishments situated far away from cities and county seats competitively carried out the work to acquire milk powder production equipment, seeing good results.
As a result, the first-phase target of setting up milk powder production equipment at rural areas and industrial establishments was attained.
The province is now intensifying the work to consolidate the foundation for milk powder production while enriching the experience gained in the work. -0-
