The Ryongsong Machine Complex has made a new-type mixed gas compressor.
The manager of the complex said that the new machine can compress a large quantity of mixed gas per hour.
When they were striving to develop the machine, technicians and workers of the complex had only known that the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex has a foreign-made mixed gas compressor.
The complex learned about the operation of the foreign-made machine in detail and determined to make a development- and creation-oriented mixed gas compressor, not the copy-based one.
Designers studied old documents and completed the designs of all parts in a month in contact with the relevant units and the complex began to build the machine.
They made rational use of a 200mm boring machine to successfully process the large compressor’s main body which is ten metres long, thus making a breakthrough in making the large machine and produced various kinds of piping, standardized goods and parts needed for the machine by introducing many innovation plans based on their own original ideas.
Besides, breaking with the concept that a material weighing more than one ton could not be cast by means of combustion pattern moulding, they cast a material weighing over four tons and newly established technical and other standard regulations.
At present, the compressor it made has been installed at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and contributes to the increased production of fertilizer.
