Rason Breeding Farm Rebuilt

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The Rason Breeding Farm in the DPRK has been rebuilt on a modern basis.

The breeding cells were reconstructed and areas such as the general control room, artificial insemination rooms, veterinary rooms, sanitary inspection rooms, feed processing plants and mixed feed grounds were newly built.

A ring-shaped rotation production system was established according to the characteristics of each breed and stage of growth of livestock, and a high-nutritive pasture was created while breeding grounds for Hermetia illucens have been prepared for the supply of protein-rich feed.

Present at the inaugural ceremony on Thursday were Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and employees of the breeding farm.

Sin Chang Il, chairman of the city people's committee, made an inaugural address. -0-
