Rodong Sinmun Calls for Steadily Grasping Party Policies and Advanced Science and Technology

Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- If we are to steadily and definitely register successes for the great change by aspiring towards the advanced and world-level things, true to the noble intention of the Party, we should make consistent efforts to master the Party policies and new knowledge, regarding the improvement of our abilities as a matter of vital importance, says Rodong Sinmun in an article on Sunday.
To develop the political discrimination and acquire the latest science and technology is essential to the revolutionary people, the article says, and continues:
For revolutionaries, the first ability is to arm themselves with the Party's ideas, intentions, lines and policies and the second essential ability is to master the up-to-date science and technology.
For all the people to steadily grasp the Party policies and the latest science and technology is badly needed today when the Korean-style socialist construction has entered the new stage of comprehensive development.
Such effort is essential for carrying out the tasks assigned by the Party in the shortest period and at the highest level.
Only when all the people steadily improve their political and working ability with the ambitious goals, can all the plans and determinations of our Party be brought into reality.
The above-said effort is also urgently needed for constantly making fresh innovation, bold creation and steady progress in keeping with the developing times.
If we copy others' and rest on our laurels, we cannot meet the requirements of the developing times and the revolution will be foiled.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should steadily arm themselves with the Party policies and advanced science and technology and thus make a positive contribution to dynamically speeding up the comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism with their high ability. -0-
