Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn the mining villages in the Komdok area into excellent ones, modern houses have been built on the principle of convenience and architectural beauty first in the areas of the Komdok Mining Complex, the Ryongyang Mine and the Taehung Youth Hero Mine this year, too.
The modern houses are a brilliant fruition of the energetic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has put forward the workers of Komdok as the core unit of the Juche revolution and the eldest son of the country and worked heart and soul to provide them with a happier and more civilized life as soon as possible.
He visited the Komdok area for recovering it from the flood damage by crossing the dangerous gorge railway two years ago and unfolded a far-reaching plan to turn the area into a national model mountainous city and a mining city next to Samjiyon City. And he indicated the orientation and ways for setting another example in regional construction.
The service personnel built modern houses in Thamsa-dong, Paekgumsan-dong and Taehung-dong No. 2 in Tanchon City, thus turning them into structures reflecting the idea and soul of the times, high ideals and high level of civilization.
Ceremonies of moving into new houses took place on the spots respectively on December 29 and 30.
Present there were officials and employees of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry, the Komdok Mining Complex, the Ryongyang Mine and the Taehung Youth Hero Mine, and inhabitants and soldier-builders.
Congratulatory speeches were made before conveying the licenses for the use of houses. Then, there were oath-taking speeches.
