The 12th Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) took place at the office building of the WPK Central Committee on Friday.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, was present there.
Attending it were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un presided over the meeting.
The Political Bureau heard and studied the opinions on modifying and supplementing the draft resolution of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK, raised at the sectional workshops and consultative meetings for two days, and decided to finally complete the draft resolution through important deliberation and submit it to the plenary meeting.
The Political Bureau heard and examined the draft state budget for 2023 deliberated by the state budget assessment group, and decided to submit it for the plenary meeting's approval.
The Political Bureau discussed the issue of taking some important measures to promote the development of major sectors of the national economy for 2023, decided it with unanimous approval and agreed to report it to the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.
The meeting of the Political Bureau discussed some other important issues arising in the overall work of the Party and the state.
At the meeting Kim Jong Un clarified the strategic and tactical principle and the orientation of struggle to be constantly maintained by our Party and government, analyzing the recent subjective and objective situation facing our revolution and the condition and circumstances to be foreseen in the future.
