Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- The grand performance in celebration of the New Year 2023 was given with splendor at the May Day Stadium on Sunday evening on the occasion of the hopeful New Year.
The performance began with prelude "Sound of Bell" and "Snow Is Falling on New Year's Day". Put on the stage were songs highly praising the Workers' Party of Korea and famous songs and dances in the era of the Workers' Party.
Narrative poem "Oh Party, It's Thanks to Your Care" which represented the people's deep-seated confession excited the audience.
Listening to children's grand chorus and chorus "We Are the Happiest in the World", the audience was convinced that the future of the country will be rosy thanks to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is making tireless efforts to protect the laughter of schoolchildren.
The audience was fascinated by female solo and panchang "On this land above this sky" and other numbers representing boundless national pride and self-respect that they hold in high esteem the most peerlessly outstanding leader. The atmosphere was further revved up with the ardent consensus of the performers and the audience.
The grand performance, which redoubled our conviction that the future of the DPRK will be rosy thanks to the irresistible single-minded unity of all the people rallied close around the great Party, ended with an epilogue "Our National Flag". -0-
