National Sci-tech Presentation and Exhibition of the Epidemic Prevention and Public Health Sectors-2022 Held

Pyongyang, the capital city of the country, sponsored the National Sci-tech Presentation and Exhibition of the Epidemic Prevention and Public Health Sectors-2022.
Opened on the theme of “Establishment of Epidemic Prevention Foundation and Improvement of Quality of Medical Supplies,” the presentation and exhibition were geared to sharing and widely disseminating and generalizing the achievements and experiences gained in the epidemic prevention and public health sectors so as to contribute to laying a firm material and technical foundation of these sectors and definitely switching the epidemic prevention work to an advanced and people-oriented one.
The presentation and exhibition served not only as a meaningful occasion, through which the zeal for competition was further raised among officials, scientists and technicians and successes and experiences were actively shared, but also as a turning point in leading the rapid development in consolidating the material and technical foundation of the sectors concerned.
On display were 3 600 pieces of valuable achievements that had been made in the course of the epidemic prevention work and 1800 kinds of medicines, medical apparatuses, health foods, hygiene goods and IT products.
During the period, an online virtual exhibition, presentation and discussion on the successes and experiences in the development of the country’s epidemic prevention and medical service work were held, and technical service and contracts were made on the methods of diagnosis and treatment of epidemic and other diseases, medicines, medical apparatuses and anti-epidemic materials.
