Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea
The United States has exposed the whole of the European continent to the danger of grave war and caused concerns big and small. Its moves has exceeded much more dangerous line.
The United States "distinguished itself" in shipping a lot of military equipment into Ukraine and instigating the continuation of the unstable worldwide incidents. Recently, it has officially announced the offer of its capital tank, making clear its stand of confrontation with Russia all the more.
Lurking behind it is an ulterior intention of the United States to further expand the proxy war for ruining Russia and thus attain its hegemonic purpose.
But for the United States, the world would have been a brighter and more secure and peaceful world than now.
The United States is the mastermind bringing serious threat and challenge to the strategic security of Russia and driving the regional situation into such perilous state as today.
I express serious apprehensions over the behaviour of the United States which is escalating the war by sending combat equipment for ground attack to Ukraine, and strongly denounce it.
The United States and other Western countries are totally ignoring the security of Russia and handing over an astronomical sum of military equipment to Ukraine, disturbing the global peace and the regional security. So they have no qualifications or any justification to slander the right of self-defence of the sovereign states.
Now the United States schemes to mobilize to the anti-Russia front even the military potentials of its top-class stooges as well as those of the Western countries.
The Ukrainian front is not in the least the desert of the Middle East on which the capital tanks of the United States rolled at will 20 years ago.
I believe thatany arms and equipment the United States and the West boast of will be burnt up before the indomitable fighting spirit and might of the heroic Russian army and people to become a pile of scrap iron.
No matter how desperately the imperialist allied forces may move, they can never pull down the heroic spirit of the Russian army and people with high patriotism, tenacity and powerful spiritual strength.
We will always be in the same trench with the Russian army and people in their fight to defend the dignity and honour of the state and the sovereignty and security of the country.
