Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- True to the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Koryo medicine production units in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, have striven to consolidate their material and technical foundations.
Substantial steps were taken to speed up the remodeling of buildings and update equipment so as to ensure the smooth production of efficacious Koryo medicines.
The Songyo Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory is pushing ahead with the work to put the production on a normal track and expand its capacity.
The Sosong Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory improved equipment and production environment to ensure the quality and hygienic safety of products.
The Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory directs efforts to putting the production processes on a germ-free and dust-free basis of higher level.
Other Koryo medicine production units in several districts, too, are raising the quality and quantity of mass medicines and officinal medicines through scrupulous equipment management and technical control. -0-
