The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort is a place where everybody wants to go and is reluctant to leave. Days in the resort leave an indelible impression on visitors.
Yangdok Hot Spring Resort is best
After warming my body in the hot spring with a temperature of over 40℃ in the outdoor spa bath, I felt strangely cool as I wallowed about in the white snow and such pleasure is indescribable. I could feel no cold sensation even in midwinter. As I enjoyed the true tastes of both winter and summer soaking in hot spring, I remembered the old saying “Sokthang hot spring is indeed best in winter.”

If I were a writer or painter…
Words fail me to express the pleasure of spending a holiday with all my family members in this splendid world.
I felt refreshing after having tepid and hot baths and a bath at various temperatures and soaking in honeysuckle and pine-needle baths. And it was very pleasing to have saunas in the rooms with different facilities and a high-pressure water shower. Eggs boiled in spa water in a place were very savoury. If I were a writer or painter, I might have portrayed these scenes vividly.

It was really nice
I’m happiest when having photos taken.
I keep many pictures of mine, and the best ones are those posed for at the ski slope of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort covered in snow. I like best the photos showing me in a ski suit which is as nice as spaceman’s suit on top of the slope. My friend shot my photos when I was swiftly sliding down slope, driving a snowmobile at the speed of dozens of kilometres per hour raising snow, going sledging with my friends and going up in a ski lift in high spirits. It seems that all my happy looks are contained in the photos. My friends and I promised to have a ski contest here again next year.
