Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- In order to successfully realize the plan and intention of the Party Central Committee to ensure the actual development of the state's prosperity by further elating the high spirit of all-people struggle, it is necessary to enhance the role of party organizations at all levels, especially provincial party committees, in every way, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Sunday.
It is the steadfast will of our Party to dynamically open an avenue for the struggle for prosperity and development of our state and wellbeing of the people by enhancing the fighting efficiency of the provincial party committees, the editorial notes, and goes on:
To enhance the role of the provincial party committees is essential to strengthening the Party's leadership ability.
The ability of the Party to guide the overall revolution and construction depends on how the provincial party committees perform their functions.
Enhancing the role of the provincial party committees is a decisive guarantee for accelerating the comprehensive development of socialist construction.
The timetable for opening a new era in which regions are transformed and for building a powerful socialist country is set according to how the provincial party committees set goals for developing cities and counties and how scrupulously they plan and guide them.
How provincial party committees attach importance to the work for rural development and how they exert efforts decides on success in the work to develop the regional economy, provide the people with affluent and civilized living conditions, raise the political consciousness and cultural level of the agricultural workers and transform the regional appearance as befitting the looks of a powerful country.
