Position of Lodging He Set on the Spot
It happened when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Sci-Tech Complex.
Enjoying a bird’s-eye view of it on the spot, the General Secretary asked officials where they were to set the position of scientists’ lodging.
In fact, they planned to build the lodging on the Turu Islet, not on the Ssuk Islet.
Being informed about it from officials, the General Secretary personally saw the design of the Sci-Tech Complex.
And then the General Secretary, pointing at a place of the Ssuk Islet, said that the lodging should be built on the place which could be seen well from the Chungsong Bridge and from the opposite side of the river and it would be better to build the lodging beside the Sci-Tech Complex in order to make the lodging look wonderful and suit to the Sci-Tech Complex.
The position set by the General Secretary was indeed the ideal place.
Therefore, the scientists’ lodging was built thanks to the unique and grandiose world of creation of the General Secretary.
Important Lecture Related to Afforestation and Greening
In an Autumn day some years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Mirim Riding Club under construction.
Looking round various places of the construction, he asked accompanying officials what trees were planted in artificial hill.
While listening to the answer of an official, he pointed out that if such needle-leaf trees as pines and firs would be planted close together in each section, those trees can be transplanted again.
Presently, he stressed that turning the club into park-like woodland and greenery was that the broadleaf and needle-leaf trees and small and big trees should be planted in good combination with rare trees of high ornamental value.
That day he gave detailed instructions about important issues arising in afforestation such as planting willows around the artificial pool, planting good species of trees after building pavilions of log ornament well-matched with woods in district of artificial hills and designing well afforestation and greening.
Indeed, his instructions were an important lecture related to afforestation and greening.
