Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The three-revolution team movement gets brisk in DPRK along with the three-revolution red flag movement. The three-revolution team movement originated 50 years ago has displayed its great vitality in the whole course of socialist construction. President Kim Il Sung kindled the flame of the three-revolution team movement in February Juche 62 (1973). The movement is an important measure of historical significance in successfully accomplishing the cause of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea by dynamically making three revolutions-ideological, technological and cultural. The idea and line of the President were successfully realized under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il. In October and November, 1984, the Chairman took a measure of organizing and dispatching new technical revolution groups of university students specializing in technical revolution to encourage the three-revolution team members to take the lead in the technical revolution. In July, 1986 he visited the 1st National Three-Revolution Teams Technological Innovation Exhibition and expressed his expectation and belief that the team members would make more technical innovations and inventions. The ideological, technical and cultural revolutions were dynamically pushed forward and a radical turn was brought about in the human remolding and in the economic and cultural construction amid the fierce flame of the three-revolution team movement. Through this movement, many youth graduates of universities have become vanguard fighters boundlessly remaining faithful to the Party and the leader and leading officials of the revolution fully prepared politically and practically. The three-revolution team movement greeted a historic turning point of its development under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the new century of Juche. The works published by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un marked an epochal milestone in the development of the three-revolution team movement. They include "Let Us Bring about Fresh Turn in Work of Three-Revolution Teams as Required by New Situation" in February, 2013 and a historic letter "Let Us Achieve a Comprehensive Development of Socialism by Kindling the Fierce Flames of the Three Revolutions" to those attending the Fifth Conference of the Frontrunners in the Three Revolutions in November 2021. Today the three-revolution team members are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to the struggle for dynamically pushing ahead with the three revolutions at relevant units as befitting the vanguard propelling innovative changes, development and Korean-style civilization in all fields of ideology, technology and culture.
