Lecture meetings for the three-revolution team members and officials concerned were held in provinces of the DPRK from Jan. 25 to 31 to commemorate the 10th publication anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s immortal work "Let Us Bring about Fresh Turn in Work of Three-Revolution Teams as Required by New Situation" and the 50th anniversary of the start of the three-revolution team movement.
In February Juche 62 (1973), President Kim Il Sung kindled the torch of the three-revolution team movement and built up the ranks of three-revolution teams with politically and practically qualified hard-core elements of the Party and university students equipped with science and technology. And he indicated the duties, tasks, orientation of activity and work methods of the three-revolution teams.
Chairman Kim Jong Il set the three-revolution team movement as work to be maintained until a communist society is built, and established a well-regulated guidance system for it. He also trained the team members into pioneers in carrying out the ideological, technical and cultural revolutions with his elaborate guidance and warm loving care.
In February 2013, the 40th anniversary of the start of the three-revolution team movement, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un published the work "Let Us Bring about Fresh Turn in Work of Three-Revolution Teams as Required by New Situation" to indicate the tasks and ways for the team work. And he convened a national meeting of active three-revolution team members and has led the three-revolution teams to conduct a dynamic drive for breaking through the cutting edge at major industrial establishments and farms.
At the commemorative lecture meetings attended by chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, officials concerned and exemplary three-revolution team members, the performers referred to the tasks and ways for glorifying the exploits made by the peerlessly great men for the three-revolution team movement and further demonstrating the might of the three-revolution teams in line with an era of the comprehensive development of socialist construction.
They stressed that the three-revolution team members should take the lead in upholding the idea and intention of Kim Jong Un.
