The 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army is approaching nearer.

It is a great honor and pride of our people to have the brave Korean People’s Army which has grown to be the elite army capable of smashing any formidable enemy at a blow under the wise leadership of the peerlessly brilliant commander.

It is a precious fruition of the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un that the Korean People’s Army is demonstrating its might as the one and only invincible army in the world which is the best in ideology and combat capability.

From the early days of leading the revolutionary armed forces, the respected General Secretary directed great efforts to training the service personnel of the Korean People’s Army into those strong in ideology who cherished the spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese guerrillas.

The enlarged joint meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the Korean People’s Army (KPA) Committee of the WPK held in February Juche 105 (2016) under the guidance of the General Secretary marked an important occasion in firmly establishing the Party’s monolithic leadership system in the whole army and strengthening the People’s Army into the revolutionary armed forces of the Party.

Thanks to the painstaking efforts made by the General Secretary to further strengthen the Korean People’s Army into the army of the leader and the revolutionary army of the Party devotedly defending the cause of the leader by steadfastly carrying forward the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu, the politico-ideological might of the KPA has been strengthened in every way and uninterrupted innovations have occurred in the overall military work.

The idea and leadership of the General Secretary were the decisive factors that enabled the Korean People’s Army to fully demonstrate its strong spirit and invincible fighting ability as the revolutionary armed forces of the Party.

The General Secretary, stressing the need to continue putting spurs to strengthening the People’s Army in order to fulfil its sacred mission and duty entrusted by the times and revolution today when high-handed and arbitrary practices prevail and justice and truth are mercilessly trampled down, paid great attention to the work for firmly arming all the soldiers with the revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Mt Paektu.

The precious instructions given by the General Secretary became the guidelines for ushering in a new heyday of strengthening the military muscle.

Now our People’s Army is deeply cherishing the precious iron truth that the army cannot live without the people as fish cannot live without water and works good things for the people and throws itself into creating happiness of the people. This proud reality is owing to the wise guidance of the General Secretary.

Indeed, our trustworthy People’s Army has grown up into an invincible revolutionary army armed with the spirit of the anti-Japanese guerrillas under the wise leadership of the General Secretary.

It is the greatest pride of our people to have the revolutionary armed forces that remain faithful and invariable to the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Mt Paektu no matter how the world may change.

Only victory and glory are in store for the heroic Korean People’s Army advancing under the guidance of the General Secretary!

This is the faith that grows stronger in the minds of all the people greeting the significant army-building day.
