Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, inspected different units in Nampho.
Looking round the Okto Farm of Ryonggang County and the Kumdang and Unha farms of Onchon County, he stressed the need for officials to do scientifically and substantially the farming planning and command for achieving this year’s grain production goals and give full play to the spiritual strength of agricultural workers by organizing and waging brisk mass movements such as the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
During visits to nurseries and youth workteams of the farms, he noted that officials should pay close attention to scientific nourishment of children by putting into effect the childcare policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea and inspire young people to take the lead in implementing the Party’s policies by directing efforts to work with them.
Acquainting himself with the situations of the Onchon County Condiments Factory and the Onchon branch of the Rice Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science, he pointed to the need to improve the quality of products and increase productivity and push research for new good rice varieties so as to substantially contribute to the improvement of the people’s living standards and the development of the country’s agriculture.
He said that relevant units should employ a correct methodology in improving the qualifications of law explainers and enhance the practical effects of education based on law information data, thereby steadily improving the spirit of law observance of the employees.
Learning about the judicial affairs of the Onchon County People’s Committee, he noted that it is important in correctly implementing the popular policies of the Party and state to enhance the role of power organs and deputies and conduct a more energetic campaign to win the title of model law observance unit.
He also acquainted himself with the assembly of equipment at the Kwangchon Chicken Farm and emphasized the need to do their best to ensure the quality.
