President Kim Il Sung Publishes Many Works on Building Juche-oriented Revolutionary Armed Forces

Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung , who pioneered the glorious history of the Korean revolution advancing victoriously by dint of arms, published many famous works in his lifetime to set forth the Juche-oriented idea and theory on army building.
The works published by the President in the period of building a new country clarify the fundamental principles and ways for building the modern regular armed forces including the training of military and political cadres and the building of an independent national defence industry.
He scientifically clarified the factor of victory in the revolutionary war with his rare wisdom and comprehensively put forward the original military ideas and theories in the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
There are the works dealing with the idea that the People's Army should reliably guarantee the postwar reconstruction of the national economy and socialist construction by force of arms.
In the period of socialist construction, the President paid deep attention to developing the Korean People's Army (KPA) into a leading force of the revolution making all preparations politically and militarily with strong revolutionary spirit, a sense of organization and fighting efficiency and indicated the idea and theory for it.
The proud course of the KPA which has grown to be an invincible revolutionary army while winning only victories in socialist construction and the severe anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. confrontation since it took the first step under the guidance of the President clearly proves the validity and vitality of his outstanding idea and theory on army building. -0-
